Only 55 kilometers away from Rhodes city lies Lindos - one of the most popular and picturesque villages of Rhodes island. Then continue your discovery and do not miss the Byzantine Church of Virgin Mary of Lindos with its impressive bell-tower, and the tiny chapel of Saint Paul (Greek: Pavlos) right next to the sea.

Lindos is also a favoured place for weddings. Weddings take place frequently in the small picturesque chapel in St Pauls Bay and it’s not uncommon to see the wedding party led by an accordion player walking up from the beach into the town.

Even many of the livelier music bars have quieter outside terraces but some of the nicer bars are to just relax. There are 5 nightclubs in Lindos though the ones in the centre are soundproofed and are unobtrusive if that's not your thing.

Search for the traditional souvenirs of Lindos - jewellery, leather sandals and traditional-style ceramics, as the souvenir shops are generously sprinkled along the cobbled streets of Lindos village.
